Directions

The club meets twice a month, usually Saturday at 9:30 AM, at the Fordham Preparatory School Rooms 327/329 on the Fordham University Campus in the Bronx.

When you enter the University campus, tell the guard that you are going to the camera club at Fordham Prep and he/she can direct you. Parking is available in the front and rear parking lots surrounding the school. Meetings are held on the third floor, Room 327/329.

To Reach Fordham University Bronx Campus by Car

From Upstate NY and Rockland County: NY State Thruway South to the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Take Exit 8 onto Rt. 287 (Cross-Westchester Expressway).
Take Exit 3 onto the Sprain Brook Parkway South (to NYC). Sprain Brook Parkway turns into the Bronx River Parkway.
Take Exit 7W / Fordham Rd. (US 1). Proceed west for approximately 1/4 mile.
The New York Botanical Garden will be on your right.
Stay to the right, avoiding the underpass.
At the light, turn right onto Southern Blvd / Dr. Theodore Kazimiroff Blvd.
After 1/4 mile, turn left into the University.


From New England:Rt. 84:
Follow Rt. 84 West to Brewster, NY.
Exit to 684 South. 684 changes to the Hutchinson River Parkway South.
Exit to Pelham Parkway West.
Pass the exits to the Bronx River Parkway (the New York Botanical Garden will be on your right), and stay to the right, avoiding the underpass.
At the light, turn right onto Southern Blvd / Dr. Theodore Kazimiroff Blvd.
After 1/4 mile, turn left at the light into the University.

From New England: I-95.
Follow I-95 South to Exit 8C/Pelham Parkway West.
Pass the exits to the Bronx River Parkway (the New York Botanical Garden will be on your right), and stay to the right, avoiding the underpass.
At the light, turn right onto Southern Blvd./Dr. Theodore Kazimiroff Blvd.
After 1/4 mile, turn left at the light into the University.

From the George Washington Bridge:
Take the exit for the Henry Hudson Parkway North (1st exit from the Bridge).
Follow the Henry Hudson Pkwy North to Exit 24, Mosholu Parkway.
Stay on the Mosholu Parkway to the end (the New York Botanical Garden will be in front of you).
Take a right onto Southern Boulevard. Fordham’s main entrance is at the third light.
Turn right into campus.

From Long Island:
Take the Throgs Neck Bridge to the New England Thruway 95N.
It is not recommended taking the Cross Bronx Expressway heading West towards the George Washington Bridge to get to the Bronx River Parkway North. It can be a nightmare at any hour of the day.
From 95N exit at Pelham Parkway West. Follow Pelham Parkway West for approximately 2 miles.
Continue under the Bronx River Parkway overpass. T
he Botanical Gardens will be on the right and the Bronx Zoo on the left, stay to the right (avoiding the 2nd underpass) and proceed up the hill to the light. At the light, turn right onto Southern Blvd/Dr. Theodore Kazimiroff Blvd.
After 1/4 mile, turn left into the University.

To Reach Fordham University Bronx Campus by Public Transportation

Metro North Railroad:
Harlem Line – Get off at either Fordham Road or Botanical Gardens. The Fordham Station is actually right outside the campus. Just enter the gates and cross the campus. The Botanical Gardens Stop you will need to cross Bedford Park Blvd and then walk down to the first guard station. Just ask the guards to point you in the direction of the Prep School.

Subway:
Take the D Train to Grand Concourse and Fordham Road, then take the BX12 bus to the campus. Alternatively,
you can take the D train to Bedford Park and take the BX26 bus and walk to the campus.

Express Bus:
Take the BxM4 Express Bus. Get off at the Grand Concourse & E. Fordham Road. Cross back over Fordham Road and take the BX12 bus to the campus.
